Your guide is a certified English-speaking Italian sommelier and a master cheese taster.

 

Together you will discuss production methods, tasting notes and pairing suggestions for the best wines, including DOC and DOCG appellations.

 

This tasting includes four wines, each paired with typical cicchetti.

 

Cicchetti are small local appetizers and can include local cheeses, prosciutto and seafood.

 

You will visit two different traditional establishments called bacaro, each unique in its own way.

 

The areas you will explore include some of the hidden corners of the city in the authentic areas of Cannaregio and Castello.
